ClearPass Credential Management System

Track-Specific Design
ClearPass was developed with the specific needs of race tracks and speedways in mind. Below is a brief list of key features found in the ClearPass system:
- Track credentials for sponsors, teams, media, workers, etc.
- Credentials can be valid for certain days of an event.
- Customer defined credential list specific to your track.
- Credentials are grouped into Passes, Parking, Garage Passes, Golf Cart Access, Access Stickers and Waiver Forms.
- Credentials can be tracked and reconciled by serial number. Monitor inventory to identify missing credentials.
- Each serial number associated with a given credential can be tracked by status. These include Void, Used, Assigned, Returned, etc. They can also be tracked by delivery method including Mailed, Window Pickup, Packet Pickup, etc.
- Each track can be assigned a default event to prevent users from entering credentials into the wrong event.
Multi-Track Organizations
ClearPass was designed for companies that own multiple tracks. Many features were designed into the application to make sharing data easy. These include:
- All tracks share a common list of organizations (teams, media, etc.) and personnel.
- Each user can be assigned to a single track or multiple tracks. Users can always view credentials at other tracks but only update when they've been granted specific permissions.
- Each track can have their own credential list including separate passes, access stickers, parking passes, etc.
Ease of Use
Many features were designed into the program to make it easy for both experienced and novice (or temporary workers) to use. These include:
- View historical credential information for groups and individuals including denials.
- The system is used through a web browser. It can be used from any computer in your organization that has a web browser. No software is installed on your computer.
- Executive summary giving you up to date information about number of requests received, number of each credentials granted, etc.
- Quick credential lookups by name, organization, serial number, etc.
- Flexible security to separate the approval process from the data entry.
